Sarah Lee-Santarpia, Chief Executive Officer

Sarah Lee-Santarpia is responsible for the overall vision and direction of ICORP Investigations. Prior to founding ICORP in 2008, Sarah worked in the field of education as an adjunct instructor in the field of English as a Second Language at several colleges and universities in the New York area. Sarah has also worked as an Executive Administrative Associate for J.F. Lehman & Company, an alternative investment firm in New York City for 10 years. With her background in education and administration, Sarah provides ICORP with expert organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a complex, fast-paced environment. In her spare time, Sarah volunteers her time at a Korean-American Methodist Church. Sarah is a graduate of St. John’s University (BA in English Literature) and holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University, Teacher’s College.

John L. Egan, President

With over 20 years in the industry, John’s career has spanned the full spectrum of investigation, security and surveillance services for companies such as Burger King, the NY MTA and many others. Before co-founding ICORP, John was Director of Investigations for Accu-Intelligence, Inc. As President and Director of Investigations for ICORP he brings national experience in fraud and accident investigations, loss prevention, security and high-tech surveillance. John is a member of the National Association of Investigative Specialists (NAIS), Metropolitan Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (MBFAA), and the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS). He has a degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Old Westbury.

Bobby Gracey, Chief Operation Officer

Bobby is an experienced International Executive, with a 20 year proven track record in operational deployment and organic revenue growth in domestic and global markets. A recognized thought leader in the insurance counter fraud market who has taken the global debate on claims fraud to all six continents of the world and visited over 25 countries to raise industry awareness. Regular contributor to trade press and media in the UK and is the current Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters – Anti Fraud Committee (8 years). Bobby has been an Executive Vice President at GlobalOptions, Chief Executive of IFIC Forensics and International Strategic Director at ICS Merrill.  Presently, Bobby is a Non Exec Chairman of the Board at I-Cog Services, UK. Bobby is a recognized fraud leader/expert within the insurance and loss adjusting sector and speaks publicly on a regal basis to the media and also at a Global industry level. In the past, Bobby has been a Director of Clyde Football Club, who play in the Scottish professional leagues.

Louis A. Beniamino, Chief Business Officer

Beniamino is a highly accomplished executive with extensive experience in management, planning, research and development, business analysis and implementation. He’s widely known in the insurance fraud industry as an expert and a well respected thought leader. Lou has been EVP for SIU & Compliance Programs at ICS Merrill/ConventBridge Group (US) where he was responsible for all national and international Special Investigative Unit operations, as well as all anti-fraud compliance programs. He was also Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for North American Training Group, President at York Special Investigations, Inc., a subsidiary of York Insurance Services Group, Inc, Detective Lieutenant for the Westchester County Police in Hawthorne, NY and Brigadier General in the NY Army National Guard.

Steven Santarpia, Executive Vice President

As co-founder of ICORP, Steven brings over 15 years investigation and surveillance experience to the company. Steven specializes in surveillance investigations including medical malpractice, liability and workers’ compensation investigations. Prior to ICORP, Steven was a Field Investigator for MJM Investigations and was Chief Field Investigator for Accu-Intelligence, Inc. Steven has worked many different types of surveillance assignments including insurance, cheating spouse, child custody and industrial espionage. He is a sought-after subject matter expert who has been featured in Pursuit Magazine, BFM-TV France, France24 Newspaper, Radical Media’s THNKR video series How to Spot a Liar, Lifehacker Ask the Expert and other publications. Steven is an active Patron Member with Woodstock Farm Sanctuary and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Steven attended Nassau Community College and has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts.

Tara Shelton, Senior Vice President of Claims Management Services

Tara Shelton is a former Hostage Negotiator and high-ranking Law Enforcement Officer. She is also a Chartered Psychologist, specialising in the detection of deception and has been a pioneer in the UK insurance industry for over 10 years.

In 2008 she designed a claims validation model called ‘Conversation Management’, and unbeknown to her became the architect of a world leading approach that quickly separates liar from truth teller. Perceived as the ‘go to’ fraud expert in the UK insurance market, she has been able to consistently evidence Return on Investment’s that significantly reduce the total cost of claims whilst never compromising first class customer service. She ensures ICORP provides genuine customers with a positive and fast-tracked journey, yet still treating those riskier claimants with dignity and respect.

Tara is a regular contributor to the trade press, radio and TV, featuring often on BBC’s Claimed and Shamed and Nailing the Fraudsters.

Tara ensures ICORP replicates their Insurer clients’ claims strategies and philosophies with the business consistently delivering impressive cycle times that never compromises quality.

Michael L. Baum, Vice President of Business Development

Michael Baum is an experienced sales and marketing professional with diversified industry experience, working with Fortune 100 companies such as General Mills, Tambrands (now a division of Procter & Gamble), and Kraft Foods among others. Michael has extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, sales management and training, advertising and communications. Michael was a founding member of Stone Toro Asset Management, a Princeton, NJ based alternative Investment firm from 2009-2015 where he served as Director of Marketing and Institutional Sales. Additionally, Michael has worked as a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services, Inc. He is a graduate of Union College and received his MBA from the University of Southern California.
